the elephant book

It’s a day that I don’t think I’ll ever forget:                    I was out on the hunt with my elephant net                when I saw one just settling down by a tree.                  Well, he crossed his fat leg at his fat little knee            and to my great amazement he pulled out a book        and he opened it up and he started to look                    at the poems and drawings that elephants write.        The rarest of writings!  A very strange sight!
